A cold land, a harsh place..and yet very much like heaven

Leh, Ladakh is one place that not many dare to venture to. It is not on a bucket list of most people. However it is sort of becoming a more touristy kind of place. The land still retains its pristine beauty.

I have been lucky enough to have stayed in this place for almost two years. I fell in love with the raw, barren, rocky mountains as we drove up through the Rohtang Pass. All I could do was look and imagine how the Himalayas must have formed when the land masses collided. How the land buckled and rose, higher and higher. And today we have these awesome mountains which no words can describe.

When I started this blog I was pretty sure that I didnt want to make it a tourist information kind of thing. This will be a record of my experiences as I roam around, as I imbibe the color of the land, as I fall in love with this country yet again. So this will be more of a pictorial presentation of my journeys….as the heart leads the way.
